Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information ichdu ("we", "us", "our") collects, why, and what we do with it. In short: we only collect what we need to build your website and stay in touch with you, and we never sell your information.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details you give us — such as your name, email, phone number, desired domain, and the message you send through our contact form.
- Project content — any text, photos or materials you share so we can build your website.
- Basic technical data — standard information your browser sends (like general location or device type) that may be logged by our hosting or analytics for security and improvement.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you request.
- To design, build, host and maintain your website.
- To send you information related to your project or service (we won't spam you).
- To keep our website secure and working properly.
3. How your message reaches us
Our contact form is submitted directly to our own server, where a script checks it for spam (including a hidden honeypot field and basic timing checks) before emailing it to us. Your submission is not sent to or processed by any third-party form service.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with trusted providers that help us operate — for example our web host, domain registrar, and our payment processor, Stripe — and only as needed to provide the service. We also use Meta (Facebook) Pixel for basic advertising and analytics purposes; see the Cookies section below. We may also disclose information if required by law.
5. Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are not seen or stored by ichdu — we never receive or store your full card number.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal or record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to delete your enquiry details at any time.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Just contact us and we'll help.
8. Cookies & tracking
When you first visit our site, we ask whether you're OK with the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which places cookies and collects basic technical data (such as pages visited) to help us understand site traffic and measure the performance of any Facebook advertising. It only loads if you accept. Meta may use this data in line with its own privacy policy. We also use a small number of essential cookies for basic site functionality, which don't require consent. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, control cookies through your browser settings, and can opt out of interest-based Meta advertising via Meta's ad preferences.
9. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted here.
